Meet the Team: Amy Kuepfer

Get to know the OneWay team! This week we'd like to introduce you to one of the people working behind the scenes at OneWay to help Reach People.

After a friend told Amy Kuepfer about Prayercast in 2019, she participated in the Ramadan Challenge and was deeply moved as she prayed for the Muslim world. When she and her husband moved to the Chicago area later that year, she learned that Prayercast was hiring.

For the past two years, she has worked as the partnership manager for Prayercast, placing her on the front lines of finding people to record the same type of prayers that impacted her life. Part of Amy’s job is to work with global partners to gather stories and connect with people who can record prayers and testimonies on Prayercast.

“Some risk their lives to pray the prayers we share. It’s humbling and yet so rewarding,” Amy says. To her, one of the best parts of her job is the people she works with. “The OneWay staff prays together at the beginning of every work day; we are a big family who loves Jesus and are passionate for the salvation of souls,” she says. She appreciates the encouraging work environment and approachable leadership as well.

When she’s not tethered to headphones and a computer, Amy enjoys thrifting as well as trying new recipes. She and her husband ran the Chicago Marathon this year. They and their family are also avid mountain-climbers: out of the 56 Colorado 14,000-foot peaks, they have climbed 29!

Her favorite quote comes from Elisabeth Elliot: “The secret is Christ in me, not me in a different set of circumstances.”

Hello Amy,

Great work you're doing. Care to pray for Armenia again? If you wish, I can send you the link of an Armenian Evangelical Orthodox group that prays every two Wednesdays for you to join. Also, could you email me the first prayer I prayed for Armenia, about a decade ago?

Many thanks, with blessings,

Sylvia Kutchukian
